The Cedar Pergola is a do-it-yourself kit designed using 6" x 6" posts and 2" x 6" upper stringers that are predrilled and precut. The Pergola is an elegant outdoor retreat that creates an excellent focal point in any landscape design.

    Saddle brackets (anchoring device) are not included but are available at most hardware stores. Most structures under 100 sq. ft. do not require a permit. Please check with your local jurisdiction to see if a building permit is required prior to ordering. Although Western Red Cedar does not require a finish, it is recommended to maintain the original cedar color. Wood is a natural product and therefore is prone to changes in appearance. Some seasonal checking and slight cracks are normal and are not warranty issues.
