The Gold Medal Sno King is a lighter weight unit that has a ¼” thick cabinet constructed of a linear, low density polyethylene, making it virtually indestructible. Because its insulated to help preserve the ice, its non-metal construction will not sweat like other ice shavers. UV protection helps avoid fading. Plexiglass windows. Its very easy to use! Simply raise the hopper, and load with ice. Turn on the power switch, press and hold the momentary switch and gently apply pressure to the pusher cap. (For safety reasons, the momentary switch must be pushed in, while pressing down on the pusher cap in order to crush the ice). Once the ice is crushed, release the momentary switch. Will shave 2-300 pounds of ice per hour, more if you can keep up! This unit works great with any Gold Medal cart or the insulated ice caddy. Included with this unit: drain hose, ice scoop and dipper. Perfect for rental stores, schools, festivals, restaurants, the list is endless. Remember: Harder ice produces a finer snow; while soft ice will result in a more, coarse snow.
