I do a lot of baking for church and friends. Hershey’s baking chocolate is my absolute favorite for any recipe that requires baking cocoa. The Hershey’s website has tried and tested recipes that always produce fabulous baked goods. Their Perfectly Chocolate cake recipe on the can is to die for and is my go-to chocolate cake recipe.

Can’t beat Hershey’s flavor

Although we are enjoying the product the way I received it from UPS was left to be desired. I had ordered the minimum of 2 quanity and when I received my box the lids to the cocoa powder had come off and the paperish cover had been busted open leaving me with cocoa powder everywhere!

I bought this item online to be shipped to me. It was during the Christmas holidays so delivery was a little late not a problem.  My problem was the packaging,   I bought two cans of cocoa and one of those containers arrived with the lid popped off, the seal busted open and Cocoa everywhere!

Packing left a lot to be desired. Items damaged.

The cocoa itself  is very good. However the shipping was terrible. The product is suppose to be 2 containers wrapped with plastic. In the past this was very well shipped. This time the containers were unwrapped and separate. One of the lids had been lost/removed and covered slightly with wrapping tape. This did not work at all. Since the tape did not cover the entire top, the factory cover had or developed a rip and ended up all over the inside of the box and on the other items in the order. Lost perhaps 1/3 of the contents so not a big deal except for the mess inside the box and spillage as cleanup was competed.
I've used the shipping many times and it has always been perfect. I have no idea how the warehouse would allow this to slip by. Overall I would still recommend Sams for shipping

How did this happen???

I placed a large order. The Tide pods and 2 boxes of HersheysCocoa were packed in the same box to ship.  When I received this box, it had been handled so that the top had bursted off one of the cocoas and cocoa was everywhere. Could not even take the box of Tide pods inside.  It had to be scrubbed off and opened outside.  Cocoa powder went everywhere.  Did not feel one of the boxes of cocoa was safe due to being opened and in a box with chemicals.  Food products and chemicals should not be packed together that way. I was very unhappy with the mess I received.

Horrific Shipping mess!

Not doubt it’s good product by shipping is not good for this product.. we ordered 3 times & every time the box is opened and spilled all over all other products.. big big mess

Big mess

I love to bake! My entire order was a mess! This is the 3rd time I’ve sent this to you guys, but I guess the surveys you send are a waste of time for consumers.  My entire order was not packed with any air filled plastic or even paper to avoid shifting during shipping!  The order I received was a complete mess!  I do hope someone actually looks at this!  Thanks Sams Club!  Truly disappointed.  I wanted to send a photo but am not able to send with this correspondence

WHAT A MESS

Items were received as ordered, but damaged with no lid found for one (1) Hershey's Cocoa  Powder 23oz. container which leaked all over the entire box/ order, and the area of the house where the delivery box was opened.

All other items had to be washed and dried, and were salvageable. The Hershey's Cocoa  Powders should have been better secured to contain leakage.

1/3 Arrived Un-Useable

This flexible plastic container of cocoa was just thrown in a big box with several other items. Needless to say, the container burst open and cocoa was EVERYWHERE! Anyone who bakes knows what a mess it is to clean up. Yes, I called Sams Club and they did replace the cocoa, but that didn't help with the time and mess it took to clean up everything else. Everything had to be wiped down. The more you wipe cocoa, the more it spreads. Would it have hurt to have put it in a plastic bag. I guess that's where common sense comes in.

BIG MESS

My order arrived and one of the cans of Hershey's cocoa had opened and got all over the rest of the box.
