This NVR/IP camera combination from Q-See punches way above its weight class! The heart of the system is the QT8716 NVR with a pre-installed 4TB hard drive. It’s ready-to-go straight out of the box and has plenty of room to grow from there. The camera POE ports provide plug-and-play connectivity for up to 16 of the included IP cameras and the NVR can support another 16 connected over a local network or the Internet. Another seven hard drives can be installed into the NVR for up to 32TB of internal storage. And, the QT8716 is ready to work the included 3MP cameras for better-than-1080p clarity.
3MP video – better than 1080p
Sixteen cameras are included in this package, including 8 varifocal units which can be tasked to cover a wider area or just a specific location. They capture video in 3 megapixel resolution compared to the 2MP resolution of 1080p. Each camera is weather proof to provide reliable service rain or shine as well as day or night. When the sun goes down, the built-in infrared LEDs invisibly illuminate the area – up to 165 feet, depending on the model - under surveillance. In addition to sending video to the NVR, cameras connected to a network can be directly accessed using Q-See’s free computer or mobile apps for instant situational awareness.
