Using a powerful vacuum, the PowerTrap draws biting insects into a removable, “see-through” catch tray where they dehydrate and die, ready for safe, clean and easy disposal.

The PowerTrap performs without the use of insecticides, fogs or sprays. It uses propane gas and air to produce heat, moisture and carbon dioxide, the most irresistible attractants for mosquitoes and biting flies. It uses the latest LED motion lighting to increase the luring power, capture rate and effectiveness of the unit. A scientifically tested, slow release, Octenol Mosquito Attractant Cartridge is included in the package. Octenol, a by-product of respiration, acts synergistically with carbon dioxide to lure a wide range of mosquitoes and biting flies for optimum trap effectiveness.

The unit features a computerized “set-and-forget” operation which provides four individual time setting modes. An internal microprocessor controls all operations. It operates directly from any refillable 20 pound propane tank, (tank not included), and an included low voltage power converter with 30 feet of low voltage wire. The exclusive catalytic converter uses a platinum catalyst to convert propane gas and air into carbon dioxide and is safe, flameless and never needs replacing.
