Durable High-Tech Construction
The cast aluminum case insures many years of operational durability and service. Concentric cylinders house the CCD imager and the IR LEDS, developing a void between the two and the eliminating the conduction of IR light into the camera's lens. This type of design lowers the halo effect in the camera's nighttime video output. Polished optical glass lens will remain clear and not haze over time.

Accurate Image Reproduction
Accurate daylight color reproduction is ensured by the Super HAD CCD™ imager. "White" colored grass, trees, and other similar vegetation is not an issue as displayed by lower end CMOS/IR LED type cameras.

Wide Angle Coverage
The 3.6mm wide angle lens generates a 20’ (vertical) x 26’ (horizontal) field of view at a distance of 20'. 12 IR LEDs allow night vision up to 40' for reflective objects and 10' for facial recognition.

Camera Placement
Care should be taken when mounting the camera outdoors to place it under an awning, eave, or soffit to protect the camera's microphone aperture from direct rain. Monitoring or recording audio can be helpful around the home or in a lab situation.
