This conveniently compact game set consists of a hand-painted board, with round slots to hold the playing pieces, and hand-painted wood playing pieces. The playing pieces have been hand-carved to fit into the slots on the board, allowing the game to be easily played anywhere, even on the beach or "on the go" without the pieces scattering.

Each playing piece has been painted with a checkers color on one side and as a chess piece on the other. The chess side is embellished with traditional emblems such as knights and kings, making it easy to distinguish between the checkers and chess sides.
