Description
The SSB-1 is engineered to hold a television up to 55 pounds, offering the ideal speaker position for listening quality. This unique unit requires no hardware or mounting and takes up only minimal shelf space. With two 3.5mm inputs, dual connectivity is simple with a television, MP3 player, tablet or PC. The unit features 2.1 channels with 30W of power, making it an ideal choice for any space.Troubleshooting TipsNo Power1. Make sure the AC Power Cord is fully inserted into the AC socket on the rear of the Sound Bar.2. After the AC Power Cord has been properly connected, allow approximately 5 seconds for the Power LED to light.No Sound when connecting to TV (Refer to Figure 1 for sound cable connector descriptions)1. Make sure the 3.5mm connector on the sound cable is fully inserted into the LINE IN 1 or LINE IN 2 connector on the rear of the Sound Bar.2. If the 3.5mm to Dual RCA (red and white) sound cable is being used, make sure the red and white connectors are connected to an AUDIO OUT connection on the cable box or other device (DVR, DVD player, etc.). The sound cable must be connected to an audio output connection on the cable box or other source device in order for sound to be produced.3. Make sure the volume level of the cable box or other source device is set at a moderate to high level. Note: If connecting to the headphone jack on the TV using the 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable, use the TV volume control to set the volume level. If connecting to a cable box, use the cable box volume control to set the volume level.4. Raise the volume level on the Sound Bar using the VOLUME+ button.5. Make sure that the “SOURCE” LED Indicator on the Sound Bar matches the LINE IN connection being used on the rear of the Sound Bar. Press the SOURCE button on the Sound Bar to change between Inputs 1 and 2. GREEN LED = LINE IN 1 and YELLOW LED = LINE IN 26. If sound is still not present after completing Steps 1-5, connect any MP3 player, iPod, or other audio device to the Sound Bar using the 3.5mm to 3.5mm sound cable. If sound is produced, this verifies that the Sound Bar is working properly and that the problem is a connection issue with the TV or its associated components.
