Love this...have purchased this for many years at the Kalamazoo Sam's Club. This has not been available  in Kalamazoo for over a year. I was very fortunate to find it at the Bowling Green Kentucky Sam's.

Great selection

This Norwegian cheese is one of my favorites. It's like a funky swiss and this is the best price I have ever seen.

Fantastic Cheese

Just purchased 3 blocks, divided each block into 8 smaller pieces and cold smoked all in my smoker on a cold day for a friend and myself. Individually sealed each smoked piece. We will enjoy this smoked cheese with friends and family over the next year.

A new twist on grilled cheese sandwiches!

Have bought this several times & I really like it.  It has more flavor than regular chunk Swiss, more “nutty”, not rubbery like some.  Textire is more velvety, not like wet rubbery.  it's really good if you let it sit out & eat it at room tempurature. it slices nicely & doesn't mush all up when grated.

Was skeptical to try it

This is one of my all time favorite cheeses and Sam’s Club has the best price hands down of anyone around. It’s great for snacking on crackers with a sip of wine or on a ham sandwich. I would call it “Swiss cheese” but it really has a richer flavor than any Swiss cheese I’ve ever had.

If you like Swiss cheese you’ll love Jarlsberg

Loved this cheese for years, then I learned another way to enjoy it.  Shred a half pound of Jarlsberg, add a half tablespoon (to taste) of red onion, maybe some pepper or other spice of your choice (not too much!) and enough mayo or miracle whip to hold it together.  Spread this on a slice of bread, put another on top, and you've got your sandwich.  Add ingredients or sandwich meat of your choice, and the ante goes up!  Then, leave it open faced and brown in a toaster oven... Discount Divinity!  The mixture also can be heated in a large oven proof dish for a hot appetizer.... Did I say this cheese is versatile?

Very Versatile Cheese - and TASTY!

While there is waste with rind, this is an amazing cheess at affordable prices. One thing i do is slice the rind off only portions of this at a time.  Cheese stays fresh much longer that way.  We are a 3-person household & wecalways keep this cheese on hand.

Jarlsberg Cheese is in the family of Swiss Cheese but with a more sweeter and nut-like flavor.  This reduces the sharpness of traditional Swiss Cheese which attributes to is wonderful versatility.  I like this because it can be used in cooking, like Scalloped Potatoes, or at a party with a cheese slicer and crackers.  This cheese texture is also smooth and very pleasing to the palate.  I always have a selection of cheeses in my fridge and this one is a staple food item.  I am very particular as to the quality of my cheeses and this one is an award winner.

A premium cheese with versatility.

If you already love Jarlsberg swiss, then you don't need to read any further.  This is the best price per pound you will find anywhere.

If you're new to it and trying to decide if Jarlsberg swiss is a good cheese, then it's an easy choice.  It's the best cheese there is.  Buy it!

The best cheese ever

We love this cheese, and buy it often, but for the first time ever it had mold growing on it within two weeks.  We go through it fast, but not this fast.  Did Sam's club store it incorrectly.  We did as we always do. We will try it again.
