Get Grilling for Less

There’s nothing quite like a meal cooked on a grill. No matter how you do it – barbecuing, smoking, frying, or classic grilling – you’ll be adding flavor and fun to your meals. You can grill just about anything and everything. Today’s grilling recipes include classic hamburgers, vegetarian delights, and even grilled desserts! But to get great taste, you need the right grilling equipment and tools.

If this is your first time buying a grill or if you’re in the market for a more specialized grill than you currently have, then you’ll need to first determine the quantity of food you plan to grill, your taste (whether you prefer your food to be smoky or subtle), and the location where you will be placing the grill.

Gas or Charcoal?

If you prefer a smoky taste to your meat, then consider opting for charcoal grills. Choose a gas or propane grill if you don’t particularly care for a smoky flavor.

Gas grills offer all of the functionalities of a regular charcoal grill and are often easier to use and clean as well. Gas grills use ceramic charcoals to provide the heat to cook meat. The subtle smoky flavor is produced when the fat drips onto the ceramic coals for a more authentic grill flavor. To get a more smoky taste associated with charcoal grilling, wood chips or hickory can be used.

Size and Portability

If you’re on the lookout for grills that you can use occasionally, prefer to place smaller pieces of meat at a time, or looking for grills which you can use for small picnics, then consider opting for portable grills. On the other hand, if you plan to grill food frequently for larger groups of people and plan to use larger meat cuts, then you should look at larger covered grills. These types of grills are extremely versatile, allowing you to steam and fry your food as well apart from the basic grilling, and they can be used at any time of the year.

Grilling Accessories and Tools

Once you’ve decided what type of grill will meet your needs, you’ll need to take a look at a few grilling accessories which will ensure that your food is grilled consistently and safely. This includes long handled tools such as tongs, spatulas, basting brushes, and more. You can even find accessories like a stainless steel vegetable or fish tray so that it’s easier to turn small food one by one without any fear of pieces breaking or falling through the barbeque slats. It’s easy to find tools for all of your grilling needs right here at Sam’s Club.
