Water connection kits for drip irrigation systems. Each kit has a pressure regulator, mesh filter and backflow preventer for proper drip system operation.
Description
Easily attach to any outdoor faucet or garden hose as a water source for drip irrigation systems. Each kit provides three essential functions for efficient drip system operation: a pressure regulator to reduce flow for the emission devices, a 150-mesh screen filter to trap sediment that might otherwise clog the small openings of micro watering devices plus a backflow preventer to keep water from flowing back into the home’s drinking water system. Each kit also has an adaptor for quick attachment of standard 1/2” drip irrigation tubing.

Each Kit Contains:
1) To automate your system, add a Rain Bird hose-end timer no. 1ZEHTMR. Place it between the backflow preventer and psi regulator.
2) Y connection for the faucet. Allows connecting a hose as well as the drip system to each faucet.
TIP: Minimum operating pressure for a drip system is 15 psi, maximum is 25-30 psi. The Faucet Connection Kit (FC-KIT) contains a 25-30 psi regulator to reduce higher pressures. These connection kits also incorporate a 150 mesh filter to protect the emission devices.
CAUTION: Not using the pressure regulator and filter may damage your drip irrigation system.
