Part of Edlund's "Old Reliables" Line, this Manual Can Opener is Edlund's original manual can opener, making it an oldie but goody. Edlund invented these original can openers 75 years ago, and they have set the standard in foodservice ever since. Now Edlund has improved them to meet the even tougher requirements of today’s foodservice operations. With a smoother action base design, long-wearing spool and rust-resistant arbor, you just can’t copy Edlund's quality.

The can opener has a rust-resistant melonite arbor to make the gear changing easier. It also has a replaceable plastic base insert, which provides smooth glide action and reduces wear on the can opener shaft. The delrin plastic spool reduces friction against the handle for improved wear. Made of tough plated steel construction, the can opener is heavy duty enough to be used for up to 50 cans a day. The long bar can opener has a tempered steel reversible knife that easily cuts open cans up to 11" tall.

The company’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing without charge any part or parts found to be defective under normal use. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to return the entire unit to the factory, transportation charges prepaid. This warranty does not cover parts that must be replaced under normal use, including knives and drive gears on can openers. No other warranty, written or verbal is authorized by the company.
