How Does a Rain Barrel Work?

Rain water that hits your roof and runs into the gutters can be directed to into a rain barrel, thus harvesting hundreds of gallons of rain water. The ‘soft’ rain water which is saved can then be used on plants and lawns without turning on the tap. This water is great for your garden because it is free of chlorine, lime, and calcium. By using the harvested rain water, you will not only be saving the environment by conserving water, but you can also save energy and up to 40 percent of water consumption.

To take advantage of fresh, clean, and free supply of water, buy a rain barrel by browsing the extensive listing at Sam’s Club.
