The arms are constructed of solid poplar wood for increased durability. A rich espresso-colored finish with lacquered top coat enhances the beauty of the wood. The seat and back deck are framed in a heavy-gauge metal and covered with a strong flexing material which helps increase comfort.

An EZ-Glide mechanism is used, providing a quick and simple way to convert the sofa into a bed. The upholstery-grade fabric is machine tufted onto the innerspring mattress, giving the futon a sofa-like appearance. The full-size innerspring mattress offers support and durability. The springs are supported with natural blended batted cotton for maximum comfort. The mattress is 3 inches longer than a standard queen-size sleeper mattress.
