    Helpful Tips for Backpack and School Storage Shopping

    Backpacks, school storage, and bags are an important part of a student’s life. Students carry a heavy load of books and school storage can keep their stationary and other essential school supplies in their backpacks or bags every day to class. To avoid undue back strain caused by backpacks and book bags there are a few features you should keep in mind when purchasing bags for your child.
    • Ensure that the bags have two straps so that the weight is evenly distributed on both shoulders. Bags with only one strap is recommended only when there is a light book load to be carried; however these types of bags should be avoided for carrying any heavy load. The straps of the bags should be wide; bags with padded straps can help ease the pressure on a child’s back. Another feature that can help alleviate back pain is a bag with a padded back.
    • The size of the bag should not be larger than the child’s back; check the specifications of the bag to get a clear idea about the bag size.
    • Compartments in the bag can help organize the bag in a proper way. The more the compartments, the easier it is to organize things well in the bag.
