Secure, encrypted, wireless video that's easy to install

Using the same wireless encrypted algorithms as a laptop computer, this camera will securely transmit video to your computer or mobile device anywhere in the world with an internet connection! Using the universal Wi-Fi standard, the wireless router in your home or business becomes the receiver for this highly featured camera. Initial setup is easy and can be done in less than 15 minutes. Simply connect the camera to your router's network with the included LAN cable, run the included IP address locating CD on a computer connected to the same network, enter your network's wireless password into the camera's menu, and you can then plug the camera into any AC outlet within range of your wireless router. The camera is then totally portable to any room within reach of your Wi-Fi router with no further setup required. Add more cameras to get full coverage of your home or business, including the Piczel Model 163 Motorized Pan /Tilt camera. Up to 9 cameras can be viewed on the same PC screen using the Internet Explorer web browser, or up to 36 Piczel IP cameras can be viewed and controlled from one screen using the included CMS software.

Total Control from the Internet

All setup menus are accessed via a computer using a standard web browser. Settings of the camera can be remotely adjusted via the internet including; motion detection, e-mail, user accounts, network settings, alarm scheduling, and reboot functions. Up to 10 simultaneous viewers can be accommodated. Standard web browsers including; IE 6.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Chrome can be used.

Great Coverage

IR LEDs automatically turn on via a photocell sensor to give the camera night vision in total darkness. A true mechanical IR cut filter, typically only found on professional surveillance cameras, closes to block infrared light during the day and produces a vivid and accurate color picture. The filter opens at night to allow maximum IR relection back to the camera's imager. A heavy duty swivel mount is also included.

Video motion detection can be set to grab images and e-mail them instantly to your address when activity occurs in front of the camera. Alarm scheduling allows you to receive mail when its important, and avoid alarms from times of known activity. Save live segments of streaming video directly to your computer while you are viewing, or save a quick snapshot. Supported protocols are: TCP/UDP/IP/ARP/ICMP/DHCP/DNS/HTTP/FTP /SMTP/NTP/PPPoE/UPnP/DDNS/RTSP/RTP/ and RTCP.
