Recipe Inspiration: Southern Flavored Chicken Wings

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Marinate the chicken wings in 2 cups pickle juice for 30 minutes to one hour.
  3. While the chicken wings marinate, slice 1 pkg of Hawaiian-style rolls in half and place on a baking sheet. Toast in oven for 50 minutes. 
  4. Cut-up toasted rolls into smaller pieces and pulse in a food processor or blender until the rolls are crumbs.
  5. Combine breadcrumbs with ¼ cup cornstarch.
  6. Whisk 2 eggs in a large bowl.
  7. Remove the chicken wings from the marinade, dredge in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs and place on a lined baking sheet. 
  8. Raise the oven temperature to 425 degrees.
  9. Cook the chicken wings in the oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked to an internal temperature of 175 degrees Fahrenheit. 
  10. Serve with honey mustard dipping sauce. Viola! Enjoy.
