What is Tencel Lyocell?

Tencel Lyocell is a wood-based cellulosic fiber derived from a blend of sustainably sourced hardwoods including eucalyptus. No part of the tree is left unused. Tencel Lyocell is made in a closed-loop production process where more than 99% of process water and solvents are recovered and recycled. Tencel Lyocell is stronger and softer than cotton, gentle on skin, biodegradable, and compostable – from earth, to earth.
